Deployed to operations in Korea and Taiwan via Japan/Okinawa, and to operations in USA in furtherance of Marine and Naval Air, Naval Gunfire mission in support of United States Army units and Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) member forces.

K), Crime Specific Task Force (1st Platoon, Tactical Unit) and Personnel and Training (Headquarters Co., Academy). Major accomplishments: Produced Patrol Officers Manual, Volume I and II; produced Specialist Team Tactics Manual; ; initiated, developed and managed department’s Specialist Teams; initiated, developed and managed department’s Hostage Negotiator Program; managed Recruit Training classes; managed In-Service Training classes; produced training videos; successfully participated in multiple critical incidents as negotiator or as tactical team member (various roles).

Consulted with corporate clients regarding security risks; conducted investigations in support of legal clients in civil and criminal cases, including court appointed cases, state and federal jurisdiction. Police Desk Clerk at Central Precinct, 2100 hrs. to 0700 hrs. shift. Screened precinct walk-ins and telephone inquiries and made referrals to officers and investigators for follow-up. Assisted officers in computer searches/CAD inquiries. Listened to citizens who needed to talk. Performed duties in access control to precinct and to bureau headquarters.
